Hello all:
I am about to begin on the thought process of making the cover to my third book in the Castor Troylow Series. I would like some opinions from everyone out there so I can get a sketch, layout or just something circulating in my head.
If anyone would like to throw a thought into my head, let me know. And let’s be fun with it!
Just to give you a beginning thought to process, here’s a tad bit of a sneak peak into Book 3: Morvicias:
Thank you all!
A touch to the mirror went back to show him events of the past. The images appeared to only show the Heavens. Castor watched in awe at the many things he had read about come to life before his eyes.
“Do you find it compelling?”
Castor looked around to come to a person standing a few feet from him.
“Who are you?”
“I am Morvicias.” The man before him was of average height dressed in soft brown and black with an adult stature and black, straight shoulder length hair. He looked like no one he had ever seen before. He was like from another time; an earlier one.
“Morvicias is a dragon; and dead.”
“That is true, but yet we are still the same; sitting here right in each other’s face.”
“Where are we by the way?” Castor wanted a better understanding of what was going on. He felt absolutely lost and not himself.
“You are with me; part of a whole.”
“What do you mean exactly?”
“You wanted power and control, now you will obtain it and use it fully at will.”
“This is not what I meant. I want to control my own power.”
“But you will be.”
“With my own body!” Castor shouted with fury.
“There are sacrifices that need to be made when things need to be accomplished.”
Castor grabbed the man by his neck.
“You lured me to you for purposes of your own. What is it you want, especially with that man!”
“Kraven? I want nothing from him. He came to me as you saw yourself.” Morvicias grabbed Castor’s wrists and pulled him off of him with simple strength then pushed him away. He felt at his throat as he went to continue. “He may prove useful for a while then he will be discarded just like the rest of his pitiful Heavens blood.”
“You plan to do the same with me?”
“Oh, no dear wizard. It may be your bloodline that sealed me but you; you have great power that compliments my own. Don’t you see together we would be able to do great things together.”
“I want nothing to do with your one-sided ideals of destroying things and be all powerful so you can control the heavens. The same goal as that man standing out there before you” Castor pointed out and toward Kraven.
“Well, your opinion matters none to me. You are a part of me now and there is nothing you can do about it.”
“You will not control me nor will I give you my power.”
“You already have.” Morvicias disappeared leaving Castor to be angry and pitiful at himself.
